Ranks, Awards and Years of Service

Your rank, your awards and your time on the board all show next to your posts. Here is how each of them works.

Ranks
Ranks follow your post count and update by themselves. The board checks three times an hour, so a new rank shows up within about 20 minutes.

• New Member: once you have confirmed your email address
  
• Member: 50 posts
  
• Veteran Member: 250 posts
  
• Respected Member: 500 posts
  
• Elite Member: 1,000 posts
  
• Legend Member: 5,000 posts
  

Posts in nearly every board count. A New Member's post counts once staff have approved it.

What changes at 50 posts
New Member comes with a few limits that keep spam and scammers out:

• Your posts and threads wait for staff approval before they show.
  
• You cannot edit or delete your own posts.
  
• You can send PMs to up to 5 recipients in 24 hours. PMs to staff never count.
  
• No links or contact details. A PM with them is held for a staff check, and they are refused in shouts, signatures, profile fields, polls and reputation comments.
  

At 50 posts you become a Member and all of that goes away. Your posts show right away, and you can edit and delete them with no time limit. Vendors, VIP and Donator skip these limits even before 50 posts.

Groups staff add
Some groups have nothing to do with post count. Staff add them by hand:

• Verified Coach: personal trainers, coaches and nutrition experts verified by staff with proof. If you think you qualify, send a PM to a staff member.
  
• Contributor: members who write good guides for the community.

Awards
There are 54 awards. You can see all of them on the Awards page, which is also linked in the footer. Up to 6 show next to your posts and up to 20 on your profile.

Most awards are automatic. A daily run hands them out, and once you have one you keep it. The only exception is the vendor awards, which follow your vendor tier.

Automatic awards

• Posts: 50 Posts, 250 Posts, 1,000 Posts, 2,500 Posts and 10,000 Posts
  
• Threads: Conversation Starter (25 threads) and Thread Machine (250)
  
• Likes received: Liked (50), Popular (250), Fan Favourite (1,000) and Legend (2,500).
  
• Reputation: Reputable (25), Well Respected (100) and Highly Respected (250)
  
• Best answers: Problem Solver (5), Expert (25) and Guru (100)
  
• Cycle logs: Logbook (10 updates in your own log) and Dedicated Logger (100)
  
• Boards: Gym Rat (300 posts in Training, Diet & Supplements), Crypto Native (100 posts in Crypto), Chatterbox (1,000 posts in Off Topic) and Scandinavian (posts in the Swedish, Norwegian and Danish sections)
  
• Community: Introduced (your own thread in Introductions), Welcome Committee (100 replies in Introductions), Social Butterfly (2,000 shouts), Talk of the Town (mentioned 250 times) and Recruiter (10 new members brought in)
  
• Time of day: Night Owl (250 posts between midnight and 5 in the morning) and Early Bird (250 posts between 5 and 8 in the morning)
  
• Guides: Guide Writer (a thread in Guides whose first post gets 50 likes)
  
• Vendors: Approved Vendor, Verified Seller, Trusted Seller and Elite Seller
  
• Scam Register: Scam Hunter (3 reports that staff confirmed)
  

Supporter awards
The Donator and VIP awards come with those plans, and you keep them as a thank you when the plan ends.

Given by staff
Trusted Trader (staff vouch for this trader), Staff Pick, Top Contributor, Cycle Log of the Month, Transformation (a real before and after), Event Winner, Bug Hunter and Beta Tester. Want Bug Hunter? Tell us what you find in Bug Reports.

Years of Service
Time awards count from the day you registered:

• Three Months
  
• Six Months
  
• 1 Year of Service
  
• 2, 3, 4 and 5 Years of Service
  

They come with the same daily run and are never removed. Founding Member goes to members who joined in Roidboard's first month.
