Welcome to Roidboard

Roidboard is a training and marketplace community for Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Members come here to talk training, diet and bloodwork, to buy and sell, and to hang out with people who take lifting seriously. Write in English, Swedish, Norwegian or Danish, whichever you prefer.

This thread is the short tour. Read it once and you will know your way around.

1. Read the rules in Rules & Guidelines. If you plan to trade, read the Marketplace Rules there too.
   
2. Say hello in Introductions.
   
3. Add an avatar and a signature in your User CP.

Your first 50 posts
Once you have confirmed your email address, every new account starts as New Member. Until you reach 50 posts:

• Your posts wait for staff approval before others can see them.
  
• You cannot edit or delete your posts yet.
  
• You cannot share links or contact details.
  
• You can send 5 private messages per 24 hours (a message to three members counts as three). Messages to staff never count.
  

This keeps spam and scammers out. Once 50 of your posts are approved you become Member, and these limits lift automatically, usually within 20 minutes.

Ranks and badges
Ranks follow your post count: Member at 50, Veteran Member at 250, Respected Member at 500, Elite Member at 1,000 and Legend Member at 5,000. Staff also hand out two badges: Verified Coach for trainers, coaches and nutrition experts who have shown proof, and Contributor for members who write good guides.

The marketplace

• Each country has its own marketplace with sell and buy boards: Marknadsplats, Markedsplass and Markedsplads.
  
• Each country also has a general marketplace for training gear, clothes, supplements, electronics and anything else.
  
• Approved vendors sell in their own tier boards. The tiers are New, Verified, Respected, Trusted and Elite. You can apply on the Vendor Apply page.
  
• Every member can have a feedback thread as a buyer and one as a seller, where the people they traded with leave feedback.
  
• Before you trade, read the other member's feedback thread and look them up in the Scam Register.
  

The country sections and the marketplaces are only visible when you are logged in.

Around the board

• Shoutbox: on the front page when you are logged in. General, Marketplace and Help are open to every member, VIP and Vendors only to those groups. The Marketplace channel lists new buy, sell and vendor threads automatically.
  
• Likes and reputation: like a post that helped you, and give reputation with a short comment after a good or bad experience.
  
• Best answers: ask a question in one of the discussion boards and you can mark the reply that solved it. The thread then gets a Solved tag.
  
• Awards: 54 of them, from your first 50 posts to five Years of Service. See them all on the Awards page.
  
• Username changes: send a request from the Change username page in your User CP.
