How to Report a Bug

Found something that does not work? Start a new thread in this board. Instead of the normal editor you get a short bug report form, and your answers become the report. The more exact you are, the faster we can fix it.

What the form asks
  1. A short summary: one line of 10 to 80 characters. It becomes the title of your report, so "Bump button missing on my phone" works much better than "Bug".
  2. Where it happened: the part of the forum, and a link to the page if you have it.
  3. Steps: what you did, step by step, so we can do the same and see the problem.
  4. What you expected, and what happened instead. Copy error messages word for word.
  5. How often: every time, sometimes or only once. Try it once more if you are not sure.
  6. Device and browser: the form fills this in from your browser. Check that it is right.
  7. Screenshots: optional, but one screenshot often says more than a long description.
  8. Anything else: optional, for whatever did not fit above.

Before you post
  • Look through the threads here. If your bug is already reported, add your details to that thread.
  • Reload the page once. If it still happens, it is worth a report.
  • New Member reports wait for approval, so yours shows up once staff let it through.

Security problems
If you found a way to see or do something you should not be able to, do not post it here. Send it by private message to an administrator on the Forum Team.

What happens next
Every report starts with the Bug prefix. Staff change it to Fixed when the fix is live, Planned when it is on the list, or Declined when it works as intended. Good reports can earn you the Bug Hunter award.
