How to Apply as a Vendor
Want to sell from your own vendor board? Here is how the application works, step by step, and what staff look at before they decide.
Who can apply
Any logged in member can apply. There is no minimum post count or account age. Banned and restricted accounts, accounts that are not activated yet and confirmed scammers cannot apply.
Staff do look at your history here, though. An account with no posts and no feedback has little to show, so it helps to be active for a while first.
Before you start
- Read the rules in Rules & Guidelines. The form asks you to confirm that you have.
- If you have sold to members before, make sure your seller feedback thread (Säljare, Selger or Sælger) is up to date. A link to it makes a good reference.
- Have your answers ready: what you sell, how you ship and how you get paid.
Step by step
- Open Vendor Apply in the menu at the top.
- Tier: this is set to New Vendor. Everyone starts there, see Vendor Tiers Explained.
- Countries: pick where you sell and ship: Sverige, Norge, Danmark, or more than one.
- What you sell: products, brands and price range.
- Shipping: where you ship from, which carriers you use and normal delivery times.
- Payment methods: for example crypto, Swish, Vipps, MobilePay or bank transfer.
- Experience and previous trading: how long you have sold, and where.
- References or feedback links: optional. Feedback threads, other forums or shops, one per line.
- How staff can reach you: PMs here, Telegram, Signal or email.
- Tick "I have read the forum rules" and send the application.
What staff look at
Staff read your answers and look at your account: your posts and threads, how long you have been a member, when you were last active, your reputation, any warnings and any earlier applications. References they can check make the decision easier.
Staff can approve all the countries you asked for, or only some of them.
After you send it
You can have one application under review at a time. The decision comes by PM, and you can follow your applications under My applications.
If you are approved
You get the New Vendor group and a PM with the countries you were approved for and links to the boards where you can start threads. From then on your posts skip the approval queue, and the Vendors channel opens in the shoutbox.
If you are denied
The PM tells you, along with any note from staff. You can apply again after 7 days, and the Vendor Apply page shows the date.
Tips for a good application
- Be specific. "Ships from Göteborg with PostNord, 2 to 4 days" says more than "fast shipping".
- Only pick countries you really ship to.
- Give references staff can check, like your feedback thread here.
- Keep it honest. A short, true application beats a long, polished one.
