Vendor Tiers Explained: New to Elite

Every vendor on Roidboard has a tier. It shows buyers how long a seller has been active here and how their trades have gone. Staff set the tiers. You cannot buy a higher tier or apply for one.

The five tiers

• New Vendor: sellers who are new to the Roidboard marketplace. Every vendor starts here when the application is approved.
  
• Verified Vendor: promoted by staff after a good start, once the seller has begun to build a history here.
  
• Respected Vendor: established sellers with a steady record of good trades and positive feedback from members.
  
• Trusted Vendor: at least four months as a vendor, 100 or more positive reviews and no open scam reports.
  
• Elite Vendor: the top tier, for long standing sellers with many successful trades and consistently good feedback.
  

Trusted is the only tier with fixed minimums. For Verified, Respected and Elite there is no set number, and staff look at the whole picture.

Where vendors post
Sverige, Norge and Danmark each have one vendor board per tier: Elite, Trusted, Respected, Verified and New Vendor. Vendors start threads in the board of their own tier, and only in the countries staff approved them for. Every member can reply.

The general marketplaces (Allmän marknadsplats, Generell markedsplass and Generel markedsplads) have two vendor boards each: New Vendor, and Verified Vendor, which is open to Verified and every tier above it. The country rule applies there too: Allmän marknadsplats goes with Sverige, Generell markedsplass with Norge and Generel markedsplads with Danmark.

What a tier tells you as a buyer
A higher tier means staff have seen that seller deliver over time. It does not replace your own checks. Read the vendor's feedback thread, look them up in the Scam Register and start small with someone you have not traded with before. The Safe Trading Checklist walks you through it.

How to move up
There is no form for a higher tier. Staff promote vendors by hand as they build a record here. This is what counts:

• Steady, completed trades over time
  
• Honest feedback from buyers in your seller feedback thread (Säljare, Selger or Sælger)
  
• No open scam reports
  
• Clear listings that you keep up to date, and quick answers to buyers
  
• Problems sorted out fairly when something goes wrong
  

What vendors get

• Vendor boards of your own tier in the countries you were approved for
  
• The Vendors channel in the shoutbox, which only vendors and staff can see
  
• Vendor awards that follow your tier: Approved Vendor, then Verified Seller, Trusted Seller and Elite Seller as you move up
  
• If you have fewer than 50 posts, the New Member limits no longer apply to you: your posts skip the approval queue, there is no daily PM limit, and links and contact details are allowed
  

Vendors who are also VIP can bump their marketplace threads every 12 hours instead of every 24.

When your tier changes
Your old listings stay yours. You can still bump and reopen your own threads in the board of your old tier, and new threads go in the board of your new tier.
