VIP and Donator Explained

VIP and Donator are two ways to support Roidboard. Both help keep the site running and add extras to your account. You pay with Litecoin or Bitcoin on the VIP and Donator page (Upgrade in the menu at the top), and the role is added by itself once the payment is confirmed. Any member can buy, and there is no post count or account age requirement. Only restricted and banned accounts and confirmed scammers cannot buy.

Prices

• Donator: $5 a month, $20 a year or $50 lifetime
  
• VIP: $10 a month, $50 a year or $125 lifetime
  

Lifetime means you pay once and keep the plan for as long as Roidboard exists.

Donator

• The animated Donator userbar and name colour
  
• Your reputation ratings count 2 points
  
• Twice the upload space
  
• 1 image in your signature
  
• No approval queue and no daily PM limit, even as a New Member
  
• Change your username yourself once every 365 days
  
• See your last 10 profile visitors
  
• Emotes in the shoutbox
  
• The Donator award, which you keep after the plan ends
  

VIP
Everything Donator has, and more:

• The animated VIP userbar and name colour, and a colourful user title
  
• Your reputation ratings count 3 points
  
• Room for 500 PMs instead of 200
  
• Five times the upload space
  
• 2 images and 500 characters in your signature
  
• Change your username every 90 days
  
• The full history of your profile visitors
  
• Shout colours, and you can edit your shouts for 15 minutes
  
• The VIP channel in the shoutbox and the VIP Lounge
  
• Animated name styles, a profile cover and a bigger avatar
  
• Invisible mode
  
• Close and reopen your own threads
  
• For vendors: a bump every 12 hours instead of every 24
  
• The VIP award, which you keep after the plan ends

How to pay

1. Open VIP and Donator and pick a plan: monthly, yearly or lifetime.
   
2. Pick Litecoin or Bitcoin.
   
3. You get your own address and the exact amount. The price is locked for 30 minutes.
   
4. Send exactly that amount in one payment. Your wallet adds its network fee on top.
   
5. The page updates by itself. Litecoin needs 3 confirmations, about 2.5 minutes each. Bitcoin needs 1, which takes about 10 minutes. It usually takes under 15 minutes in total, and you can close the page while you wait.
   

Litecoin is usually the cheaper choice, especially for monthly plans, because Bitcoin network fees can be high on small payments. How to Pay for VIP or Donator with Litecoin walks you through it step by step.

If the amount is off

• Some exchanges take their fee from the amount you send. If less arrives, the payment page shows what is missing.
  
• Up to 1% short still counts.
  
• A payment that arrives up to 24 hours after the 30 minutes is still credited at the locked price, as long as the amount is right. Otherwise staff take a look.
  
• Crypto payments cannot be reversed automatically. If something went wrong, contact the team and staff will sort it out.
  

Managing your plan
The Membership page in your User CP shows your role, the end date, open invoices and receipts. From there you can renew or upgrade.

• Renewing: the new time is added from your current end date.
  
• Upgrading: when you go from Donator to VIP, the time left on your Donator plan counts towards the price.
  
• Gifts: press Gift, enter the username and add a short message if you like. They get the role and an alert, plus a private message with your note if they accept private messages. You can also send it anonymously.
  
• When it ends: you get a reminder 7 days before. When the plan ends, the role is removed and your account works like before. You keep the award.
  
• You can have 3 open invoices at a time, and an unpaid invoice can be cancelled.
